Wanda Fun Park was a contract project to build the first ever snowboard park at Chang Bai Shan Wanda Resort in North East China. The project was completed over the duration of two months, Trint Thomas designed the park, taught the local welders to make snowboard features, taught the cat drivers to build snow features and the park staff how to shape, groom and maintain the facility. Trint also instructed freestyle lessons upon the parks completion with the local snowboard coaches to train them to use and teach lessons with their new facility.

This project started with a working staff with zero knowledge of snowboard parks or even snowboarding. It was realized through significant language barrier, limited resources, extreme work environment, poor living conditions and a tight time schedule. It was an extremely challenging project that pushed all physical and mental limits but Trint Thomas and the dedicated staff at Chang Bai Shan Wanda resort fought the odds and completed the project with great success.
